Working Principle of Solar Panels: Harnessing Clean Energy
Solar panels operate on a simple yet ingenious principle: they convert sunlight into electricity through the photovoltaic effect. Each solar panel consists of numerous solar cells, typically made of silicon, which react to sunlight and generate a flow of electrons, creating an electrical current.

To maximize energy production, solar panels are strategically positioned to receive the maximum amount of sunlight throughout the day. This can involve tilting the panels towards the sun’s path or adjusting their orientation based on seasonal variations.
Once the DC electricity is produced, it typically undergoes conversion into alternating current (AC) by an inverter, making it compatible with standard household appliances and the electricity grid.
